We offer an alternative to SageCover Support for Sage Line 50.

Just because you don't have SageCover does not mean you can not get support or that you have to buy an expensive long term contract.

SageCover offers excellent value for money for some customers, it is not a rip off.

For some customers SageCover is not the right solution, perhaps they are very experienced and only need occasional help with Sage Line 50. Perhaps they have enough support for most day-to-day needs.

There is an alternative to SageCover and we (along with many other independent companies) are happy to provide you with one off assistance.  If you have only ever dealt directly with Sage you have missed out on the huge amount of added value you can get for no extra charge by using a local Sage Reseller, someone who is probably local, hopefully knowledgeable and able to help you get the most out of your investment in the UK's leading accounting package.

Dealing with a small reseller like ourselves has both advantages and disadvantages.

First the Advantages; 

  • You are not going to have to sit in a call queue waiting to get to speak with someone for 20 minutes.
  • We will call you back.
  • You are not going to have to call a non geographic phone number that is not part of your call package.
  • You are not going to have your call escalated and have to explain it all again.
  • You will get immediate desktop support if you need it.
  • You will get support on things outside the accounting system.
  • You will get support even if the problem is with windows and not with Sage.
  • If you need support out of office hours we can make arrangements.
  • You can have a mobile number for emergencies.
  • If you only need help once it can be very low cost
  • If you need only occasional support it can be a lot cheaper.
  • You only pay for what you get (rounded up to 5 minutes) at a single rate
  • UK based

The disadvantages;

  • You are better off setting things up in advance, then you know the priority phone number, have an account and it is simple.
  • We might be very busy, have sickness, staff on site, or other problems that may delay response.
  • There are some things which we can fix.  
  • If you need a lot of help, then SageCover might be cheaper.

So what about the worst case scenario:-

You can't get help from us for some reason, perhaps our phone lines have been cut by a digger or the business has burnt down (is this overdramatic or what?)

You can still ring Sage and buy a years worth of SageCover no extra charge for having lapsed, no penalties.

We offer and exceptionally good value for money service, our minimum call charge is just 5 minutes which at our current hourly rate of £49.50 is just £4.13
