Glastonbury Town

We are based in Glastonbury, it is a special and wonderful town.

Glastonbury is in the South West, south of Bristol almost in the middle on nowhere.

The festival is probably the most known thing related to Glastonbury, only it is not in Glastonbury, it is 6 miles down the road in Pilton.

The town is colourful, full of people expressing themselves in ways you will not find in other towns.

There are lots of local legends, a lot of which is almost certainly hype.  Yet people come here "to walk on Englands green and pleasant land" to see the place where the first church was built, to see a descendant of the tree that grew from Joseph of Aramatheias staff when it was planted on Wirrial Hill.  Whilst steeped in Christian history, the town is very religiously liberal, with Sufis, Buddhists, Muslims, Pagans and Witches all getting along with each other (most of the time).

There are lots of things to do here and we have a lot of tourists all year round, if you have the chance come and visit.
