Van sales for Sage 50

Our client has multiple agents on the road selling on account basis.

They used vehicle based computers and printers along with laptops computers to run independent copies of Sage Instant accounts.

The vans were frequently off line and had to be able to operate independently yet consolidate with head office.

Customer accounts are set up in the Head office.

Sales are invoices and printed in the Vans.

Our integration on the Vans downloads new customers from the head office and uploads a list of new sales.

Our integration in head office generates a list of all customers for the vans and imports the new sales form each of the vans.

To keep things simple each van (and the head office) has it's own range of invoice numbers.

Possible extensions could include:-

• Recording stock transferred to/from each van to give individual van stock control in Sage Instant.
• Recording of Cash received in each van and bankings
